DISCOVER focuses on natural science, life sciences, socio-humanities and engineering science. DISCOVER introduces the various scientific methodology and principles to it’s audience.

Issues such as environmental protection and scientific knowledge don’t always need to be conveyed to the public in a scholastic manner. With a scientific laboratory as the storyboard, coupled with Doctor Amaze and his assistants; Calling for Doctor Amaze is designed with a simple and interesting dialogue that allows the audience, in a casual setting, to easily gain knowledge about natural science.

This program is hosted by Tzu Chi Da Lin Hospital’s Superintendent Dr. Jian. With over 30 years of medical experience, Dr. Jian uses simple language and easy to understand methods to explain medicine, arts and humanity. This method, together with actual clinical pictures, helps impart medical knowledge to viewers in this short 10 minute program.

This is the first program in Taiwan to promote the concept of a healthy vegetarian diet. It expresses the idea of healthy eating as well as environmental protection.
