This wild and witty sitcom tells the story of Earl Hickey (played by Jason Lee), a petty thief whose winning lottery ticket is lost when he’s hit by a car. While in the hospital, he begins to see his misfortune as a karmic payback to his winnings. To set things right he makes a list of all the bad things he’s done in his life and begins to make amends for each and every wrongdoing.
